MOOV NOW translates your exact movements into coaching. Real-time coaching pushes you to improve throughout each workout, bringing your fitness and workout experience to a whole new level. MOOV NOW offers guided programs in sports including running, cycling, swimming, body weight training, and cardio boxing. The MOOV NOW™ software platform integrates 10 exercise programs through their free App (Run & Walk, Cycling, Boxing, Swimming, Bodyweight Workouts). Each of the programs has around 40 difficulty levels, which you can switch between even in mid-session. And no matter what level; newbies or pro you will find a level that you will have to work hard to reach!
The 7 Minute workout with Moov Now will Count your reps by tracking your arm position to tick off press ups, squats, sit ups and more. The problem is easy to follow. And with progression through levels it is a very rewarding work-out for anyone.
Having a voice guide you through a structured workout makes what could be unfamiliar territory more manageable for most people, like having your own PT. Trying new workouts can be intimidating, but the Moov Now makes it easy and puts the coach in your ears, pushing you privately toward a reachable goal. Moov Now suggested different intensity levels for you depending on how well you did during previous intervals.
When you've finished a workout, the Moov shows you your history, which you can access from the homepage of the app from the bottom bar. You can tap each individual workout to see all its recorded stats, including the levels you completed, your best set, and breakdowns of all your sets and intervals from that routine.
The Moov supports four coaching activities, with multiple workouts. There's one for running and walking, another for cycling, one for swimming, and one for at home coaching, which includes interval workouts you can do without weights and a boxing routine. You wear the Moov on your wrist or ankle (it comes with two strap sizes), depending on the activity you are doing. For running and cycling, it's the ankle. Swimming, boxing, and interval training use the wrist.
The Moov works on its own or can be used along with a Bluetooth heart-rate strap (not included). Run and walk coaching includes workouts that help improve running efficiency and speed endurance. There are workouts for brisk walking, pace running, sprint intervals, distance running and open training. The Moov band has a number of workouts that you can try out at your own pace, all featuring a voice coach who guides you while you listen to your favorite tunes.
Guided workouts coach you as you run, cycle, swim, cardio box, do bodyweight workouts and more. Moov Now features a host of training plans designed to help you achieve goals and then uses a voice coach to affect your performance in real time. When you go out for a run, you can choose training plans from running efficiency, intervals and open training. These are given clear and beneficial names such as 'help me run farther and easier', 'improve my pace and distance' and 'push me to the limit.' When you head out for a run, the voice coach will explain what you're trying to do, and then keep tabs on the metrics and tell you when you're getting it right – and more importantly, how you can do it better.
Running efficiency function where the coach urges you to keep a high cadence over a series of intervals. Tips include "swing arms faster" and "take shorter strides", but will also jump in if you're hitting the ground with too much force ("be lighter on your feet") or it notices your posture degrading ("shoulders back" and "don't clench your fists"). When cycling, Moov Now will urge you to "change gear for an optimum cadence". It works in a similar way for sprint intervals and speed endurance programmes, with the coach's voice giving you tips as you go, based on real time stats. And it's these stats that make Moov so unique. As well as stealing GPS from your phone for all the usual pace, distance and time stats it also tracks range of motion in your legs, g-force through your foot and cadence. And that's just for running. It will detect and count your swimming strokes, show your cycling cadence and Power and even the power of your punches on the boxing bag.
Along with the accelerometer used in basic fitness trackers, Moov’s Omni Motion™ sensor employs a gyroscope to detect rotation and a magneto- meter for sensing orientation. These sensors give Moov the ability to recreate motion in 3D. With this, Moov can coach you through scientific workouts, giving you feedback as you exercise so you can improve your form to prevent injury and holds you accountable to goals.
