The horse boots contain two central reverse polarity magnets in each boot and are made from a high performance breathable neoprene. To avoid discomfort due to heat build-up and sweat, the boots should be removed and wiped clean every 12 hours or so, they may also be alternated between the front and back legs every 12 hours or so to avoid discomfort. 

A durable protective strike pad offers maximum protection and the boots are fitted with wide double hook and loop fastenings for extra security.

Bioflow Horse Boots should be fitted in the same way as conventional brushing boots. Always ensure that the legs to be treated are clean and free of any mud, dirt etc. which may cause a friction sore. Our boots are not recommended for constant use, except in the case of chronic lameness where the horse is stabled and carefully monitored. Treatment for 12 hours out of every 24 is usually sufficient. The boots should be regularly brushed with a soft brush to remove any surface dirt. They can also be hand washed if required.

Where the horse is stabled and carefully monitored, continuous use is acceptable. Always ensure the legs are clean and free of mud etc. The boots may be used when the horse is stabled or turned out but to avoid the possibility of friction sores are not recommended for use during vigorous exercise.

Always slowly build up length of time boots are used to allow individual horses to become accustomed.
